A website that answers the phone for you

Your website has one job. A stranger lands on it, decides you look competent, and calls. Everything we build serves that moment, which happens on a phone, in seconds, usually while the person is standing somewhere inconvenient.

Free first call. No contracts. Cancel any time.

What every build includes

Custom build, no templates

Designed from scratch around what your customers need to see. A template with your logo dropped in looks like everyone else in town, because it is.

Speed is money

Every extra second of load time loses a share of visitors before they read a word. We build to load in under two seconds on a mid range phone.

Phones first

Most of your traffic is a phone. We design the phone view first, and the tap to call button is reachable with a thumb at every scroll position.

Accessibility built in

Built to WCAG 2.2 level AA from day one, not bolted on after a demand letter arrives. It also happens to be better for search.

Found on search

Clean structure, real page titles, structured data, fast loads. The unglamorous basics that decide whether Google shows you or your competitor.

Content included

We shoot the photos and write the copy. You are not left staring at an empty page wondering what to write about yourself.

You own it

You own the domain, the code, and the hosting account. If we part ways tomorrow the site stays yours.

No proprietary platform, no ransom when you want to leave. Ask any web company this question before you hire them.

The build, week by week

Week 1

Plan

We map every page, what it says, and what it asks the visitor to do. You approve the plan before anything is designed.

Weeks 2 to 3

Design and shoot

Design takes shape while we shoot photos at your business. You see the homepage first and react early, not at the end.

Weeks 4 to 5

Build

The site gets built, filled with real content, and tested on real phones. You click through a private link and mark anything off.

Week 6

Launch

Domain, hosting, search setup, and a walkthrough of how to reach us when something needs changing. Then it is live.

Before and after

Ristorante Rocca in Burlingame. Same restaurant, same phone number, a different first impression.

Rocca website before the rebuild, a dated template layout with a script logo and cluttered nav

Before

Rocca website after the rebuild, clean typography, a reserve a table button, and the phone number in the header

After

The objections we hear

We already have a website

Good. Open it on your phone right now and time how long it takes to load. Then try to call yourself from it. If either step annoyed you, it annoyed every customer who tried this month.

Our nephew built it

He probably did a fine job for what it was. Businesses outgrow favors. A site that carries real revenue needs someone accountable for speed, accessibility, and search, on a schedule, with a phone number.

How long does it take

Four to six weeks for most sites, and the week by week plan above is the actual schedule we run. The slow part is usually waiting on content, which is why we shoot it ourselves.

What it costs

A one time project fee that depends on page count and features. We quote it on the first call. Call (650) 380 9995 and ask.
